Templars - Knights of the Holy Temple is a Catholic leadership fraternity for your parish's male teenagers. Leadership through serving at the altar is foundational to the identity and purpose of the fraternity.

 

The fraternity is inspired by the Knights Templar, co- founded by St. Bernard of Clairvaux and known for their fierce protection of the medieval Church and Her pilgrims to Jerusalem.

 

Imperfect as they were, the Knights Templar responded decisively to protect the medieval Church from Her greatest threat. Male teenagers, imperfect as they are, have the same capacity to decisively lead in service to Jesus Christ and to all people of goodwill.
